San Francisco post-punk outfit Weekend released their debut full-length record, Sports, in November.  I've been listening to Coma Summer a lot lately on the old ipod when walking around the city.

Happy Freitag!

Happy Freitag everyone!! What a crazy week that will be followed by a very mellow weekend. I plan to be in Brooklyn for the majority of it minus a dental appointment tomorrow morning in Chelsea. Aaaaack! 

Here's to home improvement weekends and wine in the comfort of our teeny tiny apartments! I'm also including a little song from The Sandwitches for your enjoyment that has been in my head all morning. Now it can be in yours.

Guten Freitag

Happy Friday my dearest friends! Fall has officially arrived with the help from the Nor'easter that hit last night and will continue to linger all weekend. It's cold today! I'm celebrating the weekend with a mellow evening consisting of wine, records and sitting Indian style tonight (yay!), volunteering at MoMA all day tomorrow (stop by and say hello if you are in Manhattan) and then Sunday will be Farmer's Market, cooking, sharing, laughing and being lazy for once in a long time. I may paint my hallway trim but I have a feeling that may not happen.

Garden?! What garden? Are you kidding me? Have a great weekend everyone. Let's all collectively hope the weather gets better...We had days of 100 degree temperatures in Central Park and have already broken records for the hottest summer ever in New York City. We need relief; this is really too much.

Mine will consist of above photos just rinsed and repeated tonight at Daddy's on Graham Avenue in Williamsburg for a little happy hour get together. I'm spending tomorrow volunteering at MoMA all day. Sunday will be a work day in the office. I'll spend the morning walking up the 25 blocks from Soho to Chelsea and then work for a few hours. Hmm...then something mellow like a movie and homemade soup on Sunday; that sounds perfect.
